Scriptic is an immersive storytelling platform at the intersection of film, tv & games. The phone-first medium simulates the interactive world of our smartphones and apps.
Stories unfold through interactive text chats, phone calls, bodycam footage, social media livestream and more – and YOU are the lead character, controlling the narrative.
Scriptic content is BAFTA-nominated and available on IOS, Android and Netflix.

Highlights
- Promoted to Game Designer after showing strong initiative and adaptability.
- Converted the platform into F2P, designing and implementing innovative systems, leading the design of the strike team (7 people) (see designs below). This boosted our D1 retention rate by 18% and doubled engagement time per session.
- Responsible for the content design of the whole Scriptic content library, spanning dozens of shows with a 4.2 average rating on Google Play and App Store.
- Actively involved in junior designer hiring process (test creation, scoring tests, reviewing CVs and interviewing candidates)
- Mentored and trained two junior content designers (included daily check-ins, Q&A sessions, interactive exercises and tutorial sessions)
- Responsible for designing our upcoming expansion to cloud and cross-platforms
Free-to-Play
- Designed FTP mechanic (UI/UX flow, wireframes, gameplay, narrative integration, balancing, technical).
- Designed core mechanic flows for in-episode and between-episode timers.
- Redesigned Platform and Episode selection screens to accomodate for FTP mechanic changes.
- Point of contact for design from conception to launch.
- Responsible for maintaining documentation on Confluence and creating system flows on Miro.
- Refactored, re-designed and rewrote legacy shows to include FTP timers.
- Designed a comprehensive progression and meta system to enrich player experience, based on peer analysis and game data.
- Balanced economy and monetisation systems based on peer analysis, live player data and AB tests (Mixpanel).
- Presented the new mechanics to the creative team (6), and trained them to blend the FTP mechanic as seemlessly as possible with existing and new content.
- Designed a “Continue Playing” section on the platform screen to improve UX and boost retention.
- Created reports and analysed data using Mixpanel after launch and during AB tests.

Tool Design and Scripting
- Improving in-house tools using Python and C#/Unity, boosting efficiency throughout production using game data.
- Redesigned the in-house narrative tools to improve usability.
- Took the initiative to script feature updates for the narrative tool using Python and C#, such as
- Exporting call dialogues as actor-friendly scripts,
- Predicting episode completion time for in-development shows based on past player and QA completion times (with a 5min margin of error),
- AV list generator, based on episode script data, and
- Missing syntax locator, to identify a bug that could otherwise take hours to find, within minutes.
FTUE
- Designing FTUE flow and tutorial for key gameplay mechanic.
- Responsible for content design of FTUE
Content Design
- Responsible for the logic of all shows on Scriptic platform.
- Refactored legacy show content using in-house tools.
- Mentoring and supporting a team of six creatives to use best practices throughout production.
